For more than ten years now Eckhard Mawick has gained experience in producing boomerangs from branches which are naturally croked. In winter he collects crooked branches of decidious trees, seals up the cuts with wax and leaves the wood to dry up in a shady place for a long time before cutting it into blanks. After some more storage time the final shapes and profiles of the wings are ground. Finally the surface is oiled and waxed. Every single unique piece is signed with the marking of its producer. The time span between the cutting of the wood and the completion of the boomerang is about 2 to 4 years.

The wooden boomerangs shown below are for sale. Please give the number of the illustration, when asking for further information from the producer. When a model is sold out, the illustration will be erased from the page. The prices range from DM 90,- and approximately 130,- . The address of the producer is:
